Phil Jackson refuse l’offre des Brooklyn Nets

Comme on pouvait le penser, Phil Jackson a refusé l’offre des Nets pour prendre la suite de PJ Carlesimo en tant qu’entraîneur. Billy King le GM de la franchise a discuté avec Jackson mais ce dernier lui a fait part de son envie d’un rôle de dirigeant et non de coach comme il l’annonce depuis quelque temps.

After being contacted by the Brooklyn Nets, Phil Jackson has reportedly turned down their offer for the vacant head coaching position.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports:

Phil Jackson has rejected the Brooklyn Nets’ overtures to take over as coach, a league source told Yahoo! Sports.

Nets general manager Billy King talked with Jackson on Tuesday, and Jackson, the 11-time champion coach, reaffirmed his desire to pursue a broader front-office role over coaching in his return to the NBA.
