Hugo Besson et Ismaël Kamagate laissent leur nom à la draft; Matthew Strazel et Malcolm Cazalon le retirent
Aucune surprise, mais Jonathan Givony rapporte que les Français Hugo Besson et Ismaël Kamagate vont laisser son nom à la draft. C’est les agents de Comsport Bouna Ndiaye et Jérémy Medjana qui ont partagé l’information.
On s’y attendait puisque l’arrière et l’intérieur ont une chance d’être draftés au premier tour. Ils sont annoncés entre la fin du premier tour et le début du second. Tous les deux ont fait monter leur cote cette saison, Besson (13.9 points à 39%, 3.9 rebonds et 2.5 passes ) du côté des New Zealand Breakers et Kamagate (11.3 points à 64.3%, 6.3 rebonds et 1.6 contre en 27.4 minutes) au Paris Baskeball.
On sait que Besson a au moins été mis à l’essai par les Hornets (#13, 15 et 45) et Mavericks (#26) et Kamagate par les Mavericks (#26), Raptors (#33) et Hornets (#13, 15 et 45).
Quant au meneur de l’ASVEL Matthew Strazel, et à l’ailier du KK Mega Malcolm Cazalon, ils ont décidé de retirer leur nom selon Givony. Il était peu probable qu’ils soient draftés et ce n’est donc pas trop surprenant.
